Switching networks

Hi, 

I'm a new customer to virgin mobile as I was offered a very interesting offer so I wanted to move to this network, although I wanted to keep my old number. So I was given a new sim card with the new number, got sorted the PAC code from O2, then I insert my Virgin mobile sim card and I called 789 to make the switch. That was yesterday. The lady told me the transfer will be made after midnight. Now it's after midnight and nothing happened. I had the new sim card switched on all the time, and no switch was made. Do you know how long it will take to make a switch?

Sorry to hear your network switch hasn't gone through yet.

 

Sometimes a number port from another provider can experience some delays and not go as smoothly as we would like.

 

I would recommend calling our mobile team on 789 or alternatively on 0345 6000 789 so we can check on the progress of your number port for you.

 

Any issues just get back to me.
