My mobile number is currently affiliated with my mothers account and we both want it to be on my own account but I cannot see any option for this anywhere, is this possible?
if your number is pay as you go this is not a problem.
Your mother will need to call and speak to the Team on 789 from a Virgin mobile (0345 6000 789 from any other phone) and ask for the number to be transferred out of her name.
It can then be registered to yourself on the same call.
