Start and Stop SIM Only

I have two SIM cards using a SIM only tariff (the £12 a month one) and at the end of this week, one of those SIM cards is not going to be used again until around August/September.

Am I able to stop paying for that SIM card whilst it's not in use?

I've tried going on to the Virgin Help page to start a chat with Virgin themselves but it constantly says "all our agents are busy, please try again later".  I know I'll probably need to ring up to do this anyway but I'd rather not sit around waiting for someone to answer if it's not possible.

Re: Start and Stop SIM Only

Hi tornadotail,

if it's a 30 day rolling SIM only, you just need to give 30 days notice.
(You should have made the call last month Smiley Sad )

After you have done this, the number will become pay as you go.

Then when you are ready you can switch it back to pay monthly.
