Sleeping mobile

I have just bought this phone but find that I cannot change the settings. It is "greyed out" on 30 seconds. I have read instructions but still cannot change to 30 minutes. I cannot read a shopping list without it going to sleep. Help please.

I have a Pixi3 at home. I'll charge it up and take a look when I'm back from work.

Re: Sleeping mobile

I really appreciate the time and trouble but I had already done that but the "sleep" function I need is "grey" so I cannot click on it. I changed it once to 30 mins but it has never done it. I changed the daydream and the font size and even the wallpaper as well as clicked auto rotate. Tried to screen lock to a pin number. There is an area on there to automatically lock which I changed to 30 minutes then removed the pin lock to none but whilst doing this, it blacked out again (30 secs). By the way I am in UK.

Re: Sleeping mobile

Hello again,  I still cannot wake up my mobile.  Some-one sent a link and I went to it, I followed instructions but when it came to the sleep instruction mine is greyed out on 30 secs.  I need to "unlock" this setting but do not know how to do it.  The help also was in Canada (lovely country) but I am in UK.  Many thanks.

Re: Sleeping mobile

Hi whmf00001,

I realise that you are most likely in the UK and the link I suggested was Canadian but just thought that the instruction was very clear and easy to follow.

I assumed the phone was the same, is it? Does yours show the other timeout options (15 seconds > 30 minutes)?
