Hi smilee2106

Thanks for your post Smiley Happy

The Simple Wifi App means your phone will automatically connect to compatible WiFi hotspots when you're out and about without you needing to select them manually.

Have a look here for more info.

Many thanks

Re: Simple Wifi App

Hi, do you know if this app works on iPhone/Pad? + only if you register/open a Google Play account?

Re: Simple Wifi App

Hi

This app works perfectly well for me in the UK but will it work when I go abroad for my holidays and would it still be free to connect

Also is there any difference between this app and just connecting via android hotspot ?

Thanks

Re: Simple Wifi App

Have not tried this app yet because you have no idea what to or where it can connect.
I'm using the "fast connect" app which connects to "the cloud" & "02" hotspots and has a map which shows all the places you can connect to nearby, came in handy recently when I had the problem of no upload data for a few weeks and needed to send emails etc.

Re: Simple Wifi App

Is this like those BT and Sky Broadband Hotspot Apps so that if you have Virgin Broadband you can connect anywhere there's a hotspot for free?

I'm a Virgin customer and always have been!

With this in mind, why did Virgin feel it necessary to amalgamate all the forum boards into just one?

It's so much harder to filter out irrelevant posts, now, because everybody sees everything.
