Samsung A3 no data and loss of signals

Hi all, 

I recently purchased a Samsung A3 after my galaxy ace finally gave up, i had that one since release.

I am with Virgin mobile, On my old galaxy ace i had a signal everywhere and was able to connect to the internet everywhere too. Since i have had the A3 though i have rarely been able to connect to the internet and i always seem to be on the virgin network and have had no signal on a few occasions. The phone doesnt seem to be connecting to the other networks as it did on the ace.

Does anyone know what i need to do to fix this?

I should add that i am on a sim only contract with virgin and have been a customer for over 10 years. I live in the Plymouth area.

I'm really sorry that you're having some problems with signal in Plymouth. I want to get to the bottom of this for you as soon as possible.
