SIM not activated

Hi,

Upgraded to a new tariff/contract and sim not yet activated.

Cant get an answer from online help because it says "our operators are busy please try later". It's been like this for 2 days. When I speak to someone from sales they tell me to ring 789 or * but how can I when my sim is not activated and I dont have access to another phone.

I have turned my phone off and on again but no joy.

Going with GIFF GAFF and cancelling the direct debits to Virgin Mobile if its not sorted out soon.

 

Teribble customer service.

Hi Sblood,

 

with you saying that you "upgraded" that would suggest that you already have an existing  Virgin Mobile SIM.

Have you sent the text "READY" to 789678 from your old phone / SIM?

Yes i sent READY to 789678 2 days ago.

I didnt receive a confirmation text then deactivated.

Hi Paul,

 

if that was two days ago and your old SIM has deactivated.

Your new SIM should be up and running by now.

I think you're going to have to borrow a phone or use a payphone to call customer services: 0345 6000 789.

(Or the sales number: freephone 0800 052 0238).
