are you using a Virgin Mobile or unlocked phone (is your new SIM able to work in your phone).
If the answer to the above is yes - is your SIM active > when you switch your phone on, does it connect to the network?
Are you able to send a text or receive a call - Is it just outgoing calls that you are having a problem with?
