I have just received a text from Virgin Mobile saying "Good News. your mobile is now set up for roaming and ready to use abroad"
Well, it's not good news as I didn't request it and I have no intention of using my mobile abroad because of the cost. Why have they done this and how do I get it removed.
this makes a change, most people come onto this forum to complain that they can't get roaming activated
For pay as you go customers, roaming is on by default, not so for pay monthly customers.
either way you can turn it off or on in your account:
Log into your account and click on the "Plan and device" tab.
Go to "Manage my services" Here you can turn roaming on or off by clicking on the "switch".
If you don't plan on traveling abroad it doesn't really matter whether it is on or off.
