My wife and I have pay monthly contracts. We both paid an additional £5 before leaving the UK to be able to use our mobiles in France. Roaming is switched on. International call barring is switched off. Since arriving on 28.07.16 our mobiles have not connected to a local network, neither automatically nor manually. Wifi is working. Online advisers are constantly busy. We are not prepared to pay for a landline call to Virgin. We have tried all the suggestions on the website (switching off and on again, etc) without success. Does anyone have any other suggestions please?
