Retrieve an MMS received to old style phone

Hi,

My Mum had an incident with her phone and some water so is currently using an old Nokia non-smart phone.  She has received a text message from EEMMS that message cannot be displayed.  As she has just sold some puppies she suspects this is from one of the new owners.  Is there any way that she can access this message?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Retrieve an MMS received to old style phone

Hi Llith27,

are the sender's details (number) there?

If so, perhaps your mum could call/message them and ask if they would be so kind as to resend the MMS to your/a friends phone.

Or via Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp or email (however your mum might best be able to view it).

Re: Retrieve an MMS received to old style phone

Alternatively, she could get on a computer with a current version of Java, follow the link on the text message, put in her number and the password that's in the text message, and view it from there.

It's a particularly bad interface, if she can make it work, she's done well.

There is no code. The message just said "message can not be displayed"

Re: Retrieve an MMS received to old style phone

I've just had exactly the same problem.  It's different from the message I sometimes get - "You've received a picture message", then a link to find it online.  There's nothing to reply to, and I can't forward it to anyone either.  Annoying.
