Re-activating a SIM card

I bought a Virgin SIM card in 2011 which I used and then stored.  I am now returning to the UK for a period of time, can I still use my SIM?  Will the mobile number still be valid and belong to me?  My charge card says that it is valid until 2020 - can I presume I will keep my number until then?

Re: Re-activating a SIM card

Most PAYG SIM cards run out after around 6 months of non-use. Five years is a long time so I'm guessing not.
