Provising Update

I keep getting "Settings Update" and "Provising Update" on my android phone. When I dismiss it it comes back in 5 minutes. When I try to install it asks for a pin from my service provider, I tried 7800 and it didn't work.

I get the option to delete the update but then I get a warning about certain functions not working

Re: Provising Update

Hi Webbly25,

try 7890 or the last four digits of your mobile number.

It would be nice if Virgin tried to help us all out here, by having a sticky thread on this forum or update the mobile help website with all these codes listed ?

Re: Provising Update

Hi Webbly25,

Sorry to hear that your Pin isn't working to restore your settings. Is this working for you now?

The SIM pin for 4G SIM cards is 7890. The pin for apn settings is the last 4 digits of your mobile number.

You can have this reset sent to your phone by visiting our online help site: Help and Support > Mobile > Virgin Mobile phone support > Choose your handset and then search for APN settings and you can choose the option to download the settings.

Please let me know if you are still having problems with this.

Kind regards,

Terri
