Porting issues - no calls/texts

Hi,

I ported over to VM 3 days ago. Vodafone cut off and away I went calling from my new VM.

However realized yesterday that no one can call me and my texts don't send or receive. 

Called VM customer services and they 'guaranteed me' it would be sorted in a few hours. 

It wasn't. called backed today and told 'we have porting issue and have no idea when this will be sorted'. Fabulous.

This is stupid, I can make calls but not receive any. My customers will be going crazy and lord knows how many calls i have missed!

Anyone have any tips on how to deal with this, I don't believe customer services as they clearly just wanted me off the phone!

Welcome to the forums Smiley Happy

 

A port can take up to 24 hours to go through on our side. If you're still having issues, we may need to re-route the number on our side. Give us a call on 789 or 0345 6000 789 and we'll get this fixed.

Thanks Mat.
However its been 6 days now and still no joy. Have called numerous times and each time a different excuse..its the port...its the network down..its you sim card...
I have phone and broadband with Virgin and thought the phone would be good. Its not a good experience at all and may use my 14 day cooling off and take everything away somewhere else. I thought Vodafone were bad!

Hi they managed to lose my number when I tried to bring it across from Sainsburys, as they said they had no record of me calling them which is ridiculous.
