Port

Hi I requested a port over yesterday and now and have the number but I cannot receive calls. I called VM and they said someone will call me back in 30mins on my home phone. I am in business so not receiving calls is a disaster I will lose £1000s. Why didn't VM say this could happen. On top of that I called a few weeks ago and asked if my existing number can be put onto a PAYG sim and they said yes. When I requested the port they said your old number is lost now we can't do it. Why do VM always contradict themselves.

Re: Port

You're using a consumer tariff for your business mobile phone needs?

Re: Port

Hi Raykhan,

Welcome to the forums Smiley Happy

I'm really sorry that you had some issues with porting your number over to us. I want to make sure that we get this all sorted for you.

Once the number has ported over, it can take up to 48 hours to be processed correctly. How's it all looking for you currently? Let me know if you need any further help with this Smiley Happy

It was always my understanding that a number could be moved over to a different type of sim. Have you lost that number in question now?

Let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Mat
