Please help regarding unlocking

Hi there

I have 2 phones that are on contract that will be due to end in Jan. I wanted to transfer these phones over to Giffgaff when the time comes but I recently found out that these phones are locked??? I checked with the Ofcom website and they have Virgin Mobile listed as one of the companies that supply the CONTRACT version of their phones unlocked...so why is my handsets locked?

The fact of the matter is, I have 2 Samsung galaxy s4 minis and both of them are locked? Can someone help me to remove this bar as it should not be there?

Thank you.

Re: Please help regarding unlocking

you can call 789 from a VM Mobile or 150 from a VM landline.

Anything other phone would be 0345 6000 789

Hope that helps Smiley Happy

Re: Please help regarding unlocking

Lil, you will have to give Customer Services a call to sort that for you. I know after a certain date in 2014 all VM phones were unlocked so before that they will be locked.

It is a pretty painless process, unless you have a Galaxy S6 Smiley Sad
