The last couple of times I have been abroad with my phone it has not worked at all (texts, calls or Internet) other than being connected to wi fi and subsequently using iMessage/FaceTime. The roaming option is turned ON in my virgin media account so I have no idea why this is the case. I go abroad again on Saturday so need to get to the bottom of it asap!
Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. I apologise for you not being able to use your phone abroad on the past few occasions. I understand the urgency of getting it corrected for your next trip.
I'm afraid this sounds like an account issue because it's showing live on your online account. To get this rectified please call the team on 789 from a Virgin Mobile or 0345 6000 789 from any other phone.
