Phone Internet

Hi there, can anyone tell me how my Virgin Mobile bill shows my usage of INTERNET on my mobile account when I DO NOT use the internet on my MOBILE ?

I would love to know the answer.

Hi to8lerone,

 

if you have a "smartphone" many Apps and the OS regularly check for updates & use background data by themselves unless you disable (turn off) mobile data on your device.

Thanks for your explanation.

My phone is an old Smartphone and the WiFi and Bluetooth options have never been switched on because I don't know what to do with them.

Do you have any further suggestions for the discrepancy on the bill ?

click on this link: Phone Support

Select your device then follow the "walkthrough" with pictures on how to deactivate data.

With mobile data turned off you can't use it (therefore can't be charged for it).
