PAYG phone

My wife left her PAYG phone at a relations for over a year or so, Just got it back today, Charging up OK, but saying emergency calls only, Can I just top it up???

Unlikely. The number is likely to have cancelled by VM because of non-use. I think VM requires some use to be made of the phone every 180 days (for PAYG). It is why you are getting emergency calls only. Ring in on a landline 0345 6000 789 and get the status of the phone checked.

Just had a chat to VMobile, the numbers been deactivated and cannot be reversed, a new sim is required
