PAC transfer

If I transfer my number to a PAYG sim by another provider, how long do I have to wait before I can transfer it back to Virgin Mobile? (It's because I need to cancel my new number, set up in error - long story!!) HELP!

Re: PAC transfer

Hi Warblers01,

you can transfer your number back to Virgin Mobile as soon as you have a PAC from your new provider Smiley Happy

Re: PAC transfer

I need to give them my virgin mobile PAC first to transfer my number to them so I guess it depends how long their transfer takes doesn't it? Not something I've done before and it's not out of choice so I'm concerned about losing service and money...!

Re: PAC transfer

Hi Warblers01,

I recently transferred a number over to Three Mobile and the process was easy, the transfer took place the next day.

Once a new provider has your mobile number you can then request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from them to bring it back to Virgin Mobile if you wish.

Here is a Virgin guide on the subject: Keeping your number
