Ordered a pay monthly phone.

I Ordered a phone on Thursday 14th had an email saying next steps for your order with a summary of my order and this underneath it.
Unfortunately there'll be a slight delay processing your order due to a technical glitch at our end. We'll be in touch in the next 24 hours to complete your order. It's been a week and I still ain't heard anything. Getting a bit fed up of checking my emails and not seeing anything from virgin.
Can anyone help ??

It doesn't normally take that long for a handset by a long shot
