Offering something free and now it's not so be warned

i took out a contract in October and it came with a free tablet just tried to pay off my phone and get a new new one in line with the contract to find out that the phone me was £xxx and the pad is £xxx so I feal like its time to warn all as when they say free they mean you will pay but you don't know you are doing it as you pay for the phone then the contract

May I ask where you heard / saw it was free for the tablet?

I am only aware of 1 handset where the tablet isn't charged extra

That's just confusing - why couldn't you put the actual numbers?

Are you saying that you thought you were paying (say) £30 a month for a phone and you get a free tablet only to find it's £15 for the phone and £15 for the tablet?
