You posted your question well after "close of business" and complain about it not being answered before normal office hours even start. Of course it isn't going to be answered in that time.

 

Yes - your number is ported internally during an upgrade, unless a mistake is made - in which case it's not.

Gee sorry didn't realise I was going to get that reaction resolved now and for information it wasn't being transferred but I phoned virgin as quicker, office hours are strange on here as wrote second message this afternoon but hey ho have a fab day at the office
