No voicemail

I've been with Virgin mobile for a while, never had a problem with voicemail until I got a new iPhone 5. Now if someone calls it just rings and rings instead of diverting to voicemail. I have a voicemail, as I called 222 and it said my voicemail was empty (unsurprising), and I navigated the menu to hear my message. A workaround I read suggested elsewhere on this site was to dial *#67# but that led me to a screen saying:

Setting interrogation succeeded

voice call forwarding

when busy


still no voicemail and I really need this service to work. Any ideas?
