No network

Cannot get any network in corfu can't even ring virgin for help any assistance please

did you call customer services to activate "Roaming" on your account before you left the UK?

No did not have ti do that in other networks I've used .
Is there anything I can do now

Hi Johnbrenn,

 

log into your Virgin Mobile account then click on  the "Plan and device" tab.

Go to "Manage my services" > set "Roaming" to ON & "International call barring" needs to be set to OFF

Make the change by moving the "switch" in your account.
(Click the other side of the rectangle box).

 

After changing the settings, allow time for your account to update then reboot your phone.
(Virgin advise that this update may take upto 24 hours or longer from abroad to come into effect).

Often though it is much sooner, I recommend periodically turning the phone off/on to see if it finds and selects a network.

You may have to go into the phone's settings and do a manual search for network.

 Also check that roaming is enabled on the handset itself.

 

If you can borrow a phone to call Virgin Mobile. Their UK support line number is: +447953 967 967 they will be able to set this up for you.
