I bought a 5s phone back in July. Everything was working good until a few weeks ago. Every now and then the phone would have a no sim card error. Turn off and on and it worked. Now the phone will not see the sim card no matter what.

It does sound like your handset may have developed an issue with its SIM card reader, does the SIM work in another handset or does it still do the same thing? If it does the same thing in another handset, chances are a SIM replacement may be needed; otherwise we need to focus on the handset.
