New sim - no data

Hi guys,

I have received my shiny new virgin sim with 4g data after coming over from Talktalk mobile. My number has ported over and I am able to makes calls and send SMS messages but my internet does not work. I have checked my APN settings which are correct, restarted the phone multiple times but still no internet. 

These are my APN settings

Name — Virgin Media Mobile Internet
APN — goto.virginmobile.uk
Proxy — Not Set
Port — Not Set
Username — user
Password — Not Set
Server — Not Set
MMSC — http://mms.virginmobile.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy — 193.030.166.002
MMS port — 8080
MCC — 234
MNC — 30
Authentication type — PAP
APN type — default,hipri,dun,supl

i spoke to 789 who went through APN with me and said from their side everything was ok. anyone have any other ideas?

No help, but I can report I have the exact same problem - just upgraded to 4g and now I have no data on my phone despite everything else working

some joy finally - called 789 again and they said they have reset the network at their end after which my day worked immediately

Same here think I might have to cancel got better service with talktalk only just getting getting a signal on the **bleep** ee
