New sim before 16th December?

So got a letter saying I HAVE to get this sim before the 16th December because of improvements to the service.

But no where does it mention anything about what improvements are being done and why I need a new sim.

Would be nice to know before asking people to go for a new sim that they may not need.

Anyone want to shine any light on what the changes are and why the new sim is needed?

Re: New sim before 16th December?

I.ve just had the same letter. It doesn't say why and I wanted to know if it is genuine?

Too many scams going around so why not give a bit more information?

Re: New sim before 16th December?

Hey DABhand,

@jb66 Is exactly right it’s for the 4G service, although by the sounds of it the letter could have been much clearer, I will feed that back for you.

@lucas65 This is a genuine letter, it’s just advising you that you need to change your sim because a new service has been added to the network, which is the 4G service, it’s always good to be vigilant, you never know these days.

Take care,

Kelly
