New phone contract technical glitch?

I ordered a new phone and contract today online and received an email about "next steps for your order" I have an order number and summary but at the bottom of the email it says there's been a technical glitch and my order will be delayed and I'll hear back within 24 hours, has my order been accepted or not?

Very longstanding problem I'm afraid.(search 'technical glitch')

If you have a Virgin Phone ring 789 or 0345  6000 from any other.

Alternatively wait and see if your post gets picked up by a member of the team.
