New mobile sim (for second phone)

Can't port mobile number to Virgin as new sim doesn't show on system although it is active. Order status still shows waiting packing - but it arrived Tuesday 27th

I'm really sorry that you're having some issues porting your number over. I want to do all we can to get this sorted for you.

 

I'd advise to give us a call on 789 or 0345 6000 789 as the team can find out why the porting process can't be started. They may need to refresh the number to allow the activation to process correctly.

Thanks for your reply.

I called 789 and the number still doesn't register as a Virgin one.

Support have escalated it to IT.

I think that the person who despatched the sim didn't mark it as sent as it still shows on the order as waiting despatch.

The team on the phone wouldn't need to mark this down as sent as the system processes this automatically. The IT team will be able to rectify this.

Hi Mat Phoned 789 and porting will happen on Tuesday. They said there was an IT issue preventing it. Phone now registers as a VM number so all should be well. Thanks for your continued monitoring. Alan
