New 4G sim not activated

Upgraded to 4G got new sim this morning texted to activate. An hour or two later old 3G sim was deactivated  but still (at midnight ) waiting for new sim to be activated. So no phone or data since early afternoon. Phoned Virgin told it might take up to  24 hours! Pretty poor!

I had to go to the website sign in to my mobile account and activate it there, it wouldn't activate on the phone.
