Go to "Manage my services" > set "Roaming" to ON & "International call barring" needs to be set to OFF
Make the change by moving the "switch" in your account. (Click the other side of the rectangle box).
After changing the settings, allow time for your account to update then reboot your phone. (Virgin advise that this updatemay take upto 24 hoursor longer from abroad to come into effect).
Often though it is much sooner, periodically turn your phone off/on to see if it finds and selects a network.
(Try going into the phone's settings and do a manual search for network).
Also check that roaming is enabled on the handset itself.
Alternatively, if you can borrow a phone to call Virgin Mobile. Their UK support line number is: +447953 967 967 they will be able to set this up for you. (You also may find you need to call them if your roaming data doesn't activate).

Hi. Yes I did that. Roaming on, international call barring off Phone turned off several times and sim removed and inserted. Still no network. Partner on virgin and hers works OK but can't phone as call forward barred. Thanks
