I received a new monthly contract S6 yesterday,which is locked to Virgin,the main reason for buying from Virgin was the handset would be unlocked and I would be able to use a different sim if I wished.
I contacted Virgin and was told that a number of Samsung mobiles had been dispatched locked , Samsung are aware of it and are working on rectifying it.
They could not give me a date for the issue to be resolved and it did not sound like it would be anytime soon.
I would have thought that once Virgin/Samsung had the IMEI number a code could be generated.
Has anyone else had this problem?Or am I being strung along to accept a locked handset?
