NEW sim activation

Hi, i have a new sim which i tried to activate(add credit) with the card provided, and the shop operator said it did not work, but there is an alternative, she game me a voucher number 16digits long, it say's to text free to 789111 to top the phone up. But the problem i have is, the phone wont text due to no network, well obviously im not activated so the phone wont send a text, what can i do?

Is there another way and will i lose my credit?

Hi manteray,

you can give Virgin mobile customer services a call on 0345 6000 789 from any other phone.

They will be able to add the voucher credit for you and activate the SIM.
