My contract expires in March. Can i renew my contract now ?

My contract expires on the 14th March 2016 but I would like to renew my contract now as my phone is broken. Is this possible to renew & upgrade now ?

Re: My contract expires in March. Can i renew my contract now ?

Hi,

as far as I am aware it is only possible to upgrade your phone within 30 days of the contract end date, so in this case, no.

However I would still call Virgin mobile customer services on 789 or 0345 6000 789 from any other phone and see if they are able to offer you a deal.

AlexKid :-)

Mine came up as eligible for an upgrade earlier than 30 days. If you login to your Virgin mobile account it well tell you if you are. A green banner?

Hi AlexRossBrown

You can indeed upgrade ,however , you would have to buy out the remainder of the term. This is LINE RENTAL X NUMBER OF MONTHS REMAING = BUYOUT

As AlexKid correctly said the "official" upgrade date would be 30 days prior the contract ending.

you could wait until the 14th of Feb if you didn't want to pay Smiley Happy

Best of luck Smiley Happy

If I were in your situation, I'd spend £40 on an Alcatel Pixi3 at Tesco and put your Virgin SIM in that. Then on 14th Feb I'd ring Virgin and ask to be switched to a rolling SIM-only deal (this won't happen unless you ask for it). Then, if you don't like the handset, you can upgrade at your leisure, waiting for a good deal to come along.

To be fair gorf's idea is pretty good, so good shout on that one

The upgrade fee would more than likely be as much as the cost to buy the phone anyway,.

Give the team on a 789 or 0345 6000 789 to get the upgrade fee Smiley Happy
