Moblie Phone Upgrade

hi,

i am looking on my phone account online and it informs me that i am eligible for an upgrade. however my contract doesn't end until september and i understand i am allowed for an upgrade 30 days prior to the end of my contract for free. but it is around 60 days till the end of my contract so i am confused. so does upgrading now cause me to pay an extra fee to end my contract?

perhaps you are being offered an "early upgrade".

You would be best advised to give Virgin Mobile customer services a call (free) on 789 from your mobile or 0345 6000 789 from any other phone to discuss options available to you.

ive also noticed on my account is says VIP in my current plan. could this be the reason?
