Re: Mobile

Hi Maleeha100,

40p is the correct charge for sending an MMS (picture message) for Virgin Mobile pay monthly customers.
Did you not intentionally send an MMS?

If not, there are various reasons why a SMS (text message) may have been converted to MMS by your phone.
See: HERE (this is actually an O2 support page but is quite clear and informative).

Re: Mobile

Hi

Thank you for your reply. I did not intentionally mean to send an mms message, as I was unaware that I would get charged.

Can you please tell me how I can avoid this charge please.

Thank you

Re: Mobile

Hi Maleeha100,

to avoid the 40p charge don't send anyone an MMS picture.
(WhatsApp is a great way of sending photo's between family and friends).

To avoid accidentally sending an MMS follow the advice in the O2 support guide I linked to in my first post.
