I arrived in Italy and found that the phone doesn't connect to any phone network. I went online using the hotel wifi and discovered that using the phone abroad is not a feature that is automatically switched on when the virgin media sim card is supplied (pay monthly, unlimited everything).
How can I get to connect to a local phone provider? Is there an email address for mobile phone support? How long would it take anyway?
I just had the same problem on a weekend trip to France. No signal in France.
The night before I left I checked via the "My Account" app on the phone (Sony Xperia) and all it mentioned was ensuring I had paid 3 bills (or deposit £50). No-where on that app does it say to "enable roaming" or give a link to where it can be enabled... Can those be added?
