I have a newish phone with Virgin (Samsung Galaxy A5, 2017 version).
However, today I do not seem to be able to access the internet or much in the way of data. It was fine yesterday! I can access it fine when I am on a wifi connection.
I have 4G lit up on the phone, mobile data turned on, I haven't gone over my limit, I have 1 to 2 bars of signal, and I am in a location where it has reliably worked in the past (ie, yesterday, this week, last week etc).
I have turned airplane mode off and on, I have rebooted, I have attempted to access the internet on my phone in multiple ways (Facebook, inbuilt internet app, Whatsapp). I have been able to send and receive texts, but I do not know how promptly these have been received.
It is driving me up the wall! Any help greatly appreciated.
I have turned 4G off by switching to 2G/3G network only, and now have access. Something's going wrong with the 4G - any updates on this gratefully received - I cannot use the service checker as I do not have a virgin landline!
