Meaningless txt from Virgin Mobile

Just had this text from VM,  no idea what it means.

 

"OK, we've now removed Fibre Sim 100 minutes - 100 SMS - 100MB from your package. Your allowances have all been updated too!"

 

Anybody any idea what this means?

Are you sure it's not spam? What number was it sent from?

I think it is from Virgin as it is on the same txt conversation when they refresh my monthly allowance, but this message is simply baffling!

Apologies for such a late reply - I did not get an email to advise me that you had replied.

 

I did nothing with the text, but it is still on my mobile from the same number that my updated allowance advisory is sent from and also other marketing material.

 

I did not speak to anyone about it as my account did not appear to have been affected and I assumed it was an error..  Exactly what is Fibre SIM?  I was concerned at first as it said Virgin had removed allowances.

The fibre sim message is more than likely linked to a potential offer for existing fibre optic customers when offering a sim.

 

 

Glad to see nothing has changed. I would disregard the message as it was more than likely sent in error.


Keep an eye out and let me know if anything out of the ordinary appears.
