The credit is on your account rather than the sim, if you block the sim and transfer the number
and account to a new sim, I can't see why the credit would not transfer with it!

Welcome to the community, sorry to hear about you losing your SIM card!
As Koala5 has mentioned, the credit will be applied to your number so give the team a call on 789 from any Virgin handset or 0345 6000 789 and we'll get another ordered for you right away.
If you saved your phone numbers to your lost SIM card, you may need to enter them again but that should be all
