Lost phone

There is a problem. I lost my phone,  and I need to know whether I can get a replacement and keep the old number.

I did speak to someone at Virgin Mobile,  and she passed me on to the sales Dept,  but no-one seems to know what the position is.

Keeping old number

Have already posted a query,  but am not sure if I explained the problem clearly. I lost my phone and would like to retain the old number when I buy a replacement. Surely there must be a procedure for doing this? But no-one I spoke to at Virgin Mobile seemed to know what the procedure is.

Re: Lost phone

Hi leonora,

with regard to your phone, did you have insurance against loss?

As far as a replacement SIM goes. That shouldn't be a problem.

Give the Virgin mobile team a call on 0345 6000 789 from any other phone. Explain that you have lost your phone and request a replacement SIM.
(There may be a £5 replacement charge).

Your new SIM will come with the same number, on the same tariff and with any balance that you may have had.

Re: Keeping old number

Hi leonora,

I've already replied to your other post.

Give the Virgin mobile team a call on 0345 6000 789.
Explain that you have lost your phone and request they send you a replacement SIM card (there may be a £5 charge).

The sooner the better so that Virgin can disable your lost SIM.

Your new SIM will come with the same number, on the same tariff and with any balance that you may have had.
I'm afraid though that your contacts list is your responsibility.
