Losing service, emergency calls only - but in a good signal area.

Hi

I keep geeting 'no service available, emergency calls only' followed by a blacked-out screen.  I'm in a supposedly good signal area (NR4 6JE) and have never had a problem in the past 10 years, same location, same network.  I have a new Samsung S4 Mini which I've had for two weeks - could that be the problem?

Any thoughts appreciated   Thanks

HI SteveAcoustic,

Welcome to the forums Smiley Happy

I'm really sorry that you're having some signal issues. I've run some checks and I can see that some planned work was recently completed.

How's the signal looking for you currently?

Please let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Mat

Re: Losing service, emergency calls only - but in a good signal area.

Thanks Mat

That's helpful to know. The problem only last for an hour or two. My wife, who also recently got a new Virgin phone, had the same problem at the same time, so mabe it indeed soemthing to do with work being carried out.  No problems since so I guess it's resolved itself.  Thansk for your help, and a speedy reply.

best regards

Steve
