I have an LG G4. I like the phone but quickly falling out of love with it.
Battery lasts a working day if I'm lucky. I've had a new battery for it and I've had it in repair too. I think it's to do with the Virgin Media WiFi buddy, it uses at least twice the amount of everything if not more but I can't disable the app or uninstall it. I never use the app so as far as I'm concerned it's useless.
I need help with this as I really don't want to flash the firmware and at the moment I really don't want this phone...
Hi sorry about such a long wait for a reply. I didn't get an email to say someone had replied or if I did I missed it and only just thought about checking it.
The phone comes pre-installed and if I do a factory reset I get the same apps/results. There was an uninstall button which I clicked and an app called "Simple Wifi" had taken over and I can't uninstall that.
Today I've hardly used my phone at all and from taking it off charge 7am this morning it died at 5pm. Occasionally I wake up in the morning to see that it hasn't even charged to 90% and this is after being on charge for at least 7 - 8 hours.
I'm afraid there's not much that I can do on my side regarding this. Your best bet would be to call us on 789 or 0345 6000 789. The team can ensure that all options are explored to resolve this problem.
I'm sorry for any frustration caused on our part. The team on the phone will be best placed to help you with any queries you have regarding the phone. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. I'll be more than happy to help.
