If my contract is unlimited, why am I out of credit?

I was on the phone to my girlfriend, when all of a sudden I hear 'you have one minute remaining' down the phone. I thought this was strange as my contract of £12/month gives me unlimited texts and calls. I call 789 and it confirmed I had unlimited calls.
I am extremely irritated in Virgin's lack of service - has anyone else had this problem and can someone help? I can't even text now.

Are you able to use the online account check to see what you have left? What you think you should have and what the system thinks you should have may be two different things.
For example, I'm supposed to have 1 gig of data and 600 mins, but the website and android app both report I'm getting unlimited minutes and 4 GB. I'm not abusing the facility (I've used 22 mins and 300MB and have three days before refresh) but if it's so wrong for me, it's probably wrong for you (except where the mistake is in my favour, it's not in yours).
