I've just received a new LG G Pad 7.0 from Virgin and it does not work

I've received a new LG G Pad 7.0 as part of a package (LG Spirit included) and the tablet does not work. I cannot get past the multi-coloured first page. I tap code but screen goes black.

I'm really sorry to hear that the tablet you've received isn't working.
