My mobile is the only phone I've got so I can't ring customer service and I can't see that they have an online chat line.

Sorry to hear you have no service on your mobile.
Your problem could be coverage related or down to the handset or SIM. I've managed to locate your details and check your area for you. Coverage locally is very healthy with no faults listed currently.
If you can try your SIM in another handset and it works its your handset that's faulty if it doesn't work the SIM may be at fault.
