My daughter is constantly running up big bills on her mobile phone (she has aspergers and doesn't understand what is free and what isn't free as it's so confusing. She's constantly going over her limit and I thought virgin would put a block on her phone once she reached the monthly limit !
Thankyou so much. I've increased her plan up a couple of notches so I don't get any more nasty bills - I'm hoping the 2GB data allowance per month is more adequate (and £12 per month is better than a £60 unexpected bill!) x
It's a samsung s6 on contract with virgin. We initially got the phone with the 350mb of data - I did warn my husband that it wouldn't be adequate as the phone needs surgically removing from our daughter's hands...... lol ! I wonder how today's kids would have survived in the 70's and 80's !!???
Doesn't the new tariff come into play after 30 days? It seems like she's maybe watching videos which take a lot of data. Have you checked that when she's at home she's connecting to WiFi and not uding her own data?
She's using wifi in the house but, is quickly using up her 300mb of data outside the house. I asked to change tariff through logging into her virgin account and there was an option to switch tariff - so i chose the 2gb package. That was on 3rd March and she's still on the 300mb package !
