I have a very poor signal at my home

I have only been with Virgin mobile for a month and my signal at my home is very poor and sometimes nothing at all.

I have had to go back to using my old network provider as i keep missing calls

Re: I have a very poor signal at my home

Hi bikermike,

you can use the Virgin Mobile Coverage Checker to see what your signal should be like.

If that shows a good signal strength and yours obviously isn't. Why not give Virgin mobile customer services a call on 789 from your Virgin mobile or 0345 6000 789 from any other phone.

They would be able to advise if there are any known faults or maintenance being carried out in your area which could be affecting you and hopefully a timescale for completion if this is the case.

Re: I have a very poor signal at my home

Hi Bikermike,

Welcome to the forums Smiley Happy

I'm really sorry that you're having issues with signal in your area. I want to look into this for you. So I can do this, are you able to PM me your full postcode?

You can do this by clicking on my face and selecting the send me a message option on the right.

Looking forward to hearing from you Smiley Happy

Thanks,

Mat

Re: Post code

Hi bikermike,

did you also message Mat your post code as requested?

He will pick it up here on the forum eventually, it just may take a little longer.

Unfortunately having looked myself on the Virgin coverage checker that I provided the link for in my earlier reply.
Even everything working as it should, your 3G signal is only "moderate" Smiley Sad

Using an independent coverage checker here: Mobile phone coverage

The Three network (possibly who you were with previously?) is the one with the best coverage for your location.

Re: Post code

Hi Alex
Yes I was using 3 before and it was better than virgin!
Sometimes I can even send a text so I'm on my old network for now 😕

Re: Post code

Thanks for letting me know BikerMike Smiley Happy

I've run some checks and I can't see any immediate issues in the area. However, I can see that signal will be variable indoors. Do you only have this issue indoors or is this an area issue?

Let me know when you can.

Mat
