My trusty old Samsung Ace II worked fine until a few weeks ago and then stopped getting a 3G signal. Is it the phone or Virgin's service?

Sorry to hear you've had some issues with 3G on your Ace 2. I want to get it all sorted for you as soon as possible.
Are you able to go into settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks and see if the packet data box is ticked?
If it's not, pop the tick in and see if this helps.
If you're still having issues after that, can you PM me your full postcode so I can rule out any area faults?
